Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits

Paid tickets are eligible for CPE credits per hour of attendance. To clarify how the NY Metro Joint Cyber Security Conference (NYMJCSC) will handle CPE verification, submission and notification:

CPE verification:

Many organization require hourly verification of each attendee. As such, we collect evidence through monitoring activity to all our chats, provide hourly polling and analyze log data to assure an individual's attendance for each CPE hour.

To accurately credit CPE hours to registrations, the name and/or email used for registrations MUST MATCH what was used to attend the Zoom webinar.

CPE submission:

NYMJCSC will forward your name and email along with your calculated CPE credits directly to the local chapters of each organization you registered with (i.e. ISACA-GHC, ISACA-NJ, ISACA-NY, ISC2-NJ, ISC-PH, HTCIA-NY, CSA-NY, et al).

It is important to note that each chapter's membership committee performs a review of our verification and allocate the CPE credits, the NYMJCSC does not issue CPE credits directly.

If you did not identify your affiliation on your registration, your organization was not a partner organization in this conference, or your attendee name does not match your registration name, you can still self-submit for CPE hours.

CPE notification:

Approximately one week after the conclusion of the conference/workshop, you will receive an email with resulting calculated CPE credits earned.

We ask that you please verify that calculation with your local chapter.
